After lunch, visit the National Library famous for ancient Buddhist manuscripts, Painting School where traditional Sacred Buddhist scrolls (Tankas) are created by hand, Folk Heritage Museum and the Trashichho Dzong, the beautiful medieval fortress/ monastery that houses Government offices and the King's Throne room. Eligibility: Land only bookings do not require airline approval. For air inclusive bookings at above prices, Air India permits only One Full Time IATAN Agent per agency. Additional agents from same agency could obtain AD75 from Air India. Non-IATAN agents pay companion rates.
Conditions: Companions are permitted. Limited seats available for air inclusive bookings at the sole discretion of Air India. IATAN Reduced Rate application has to be submitted to airlines. Deposits are refundable if space cannot be confirmed. Visas for India are participants’ responsibility. Log on to Resources for Travelers for visa forms and mandatory trip insurance. Return flight deviation fee is $100.00. Additional nights in Delhi are available at the time of booking for $185.00 per person double plus taxes. If traveling on your own air, please arrive in Delhi by April 6 and depart from Delhi late night on April 17 or morning of April 18. Individual airport transfer is available at $ 19.00. Druk Air is the only carrier that has limited flights to and from Bhutan.
